"Love over Fear" is an invitation to give space to the fears in love that we hold. We often hide and reject those limiting parts of ourselves, not allowing to process them and separating from other people, feeling alone with our pain. While we can’t immediately liberate our fears, we can lift off the weight from our hearts by simply observing them.

This durational interactive installation invites visitors to write their biggest fear in love on the suspended rock, listen to a guided meditation that invites to acknowledge and embrace those fears, and once done, cut a thread holding a rock, changing it with a feather instead. The rocky landscape takings its shape on the floor and projection of expressed fears become an emotional map in a collective narrative of Love over Fear, reminding us that we are never alone, and that we can always choose to keep our hearts open.

I believe that universal love is an infinite gravitational force that sets in motion all life on Earth. It is free, unlimited and always available. However, in a human world of matter, we are bound to certain limitations, necessary to maintain our identity. It’s a mind’s inherited quality to construct a persona, based on our past experiences and conditionings from culture, society, family - a way to protect and orient itself. For this inseparable Ego part of our beings, love comes with all sort of limiting forces - Fears. The fear of being rejected, abandoned, misunderstood, betrayed, loose the freedom or sense of self. These fears either prevent us from opening to love or create a clinging once we have it, out of fear to loose it. With my work i investigate what lies in our way of experiencing love freely.
